QLD Federal Government Offers Covid-19 Disaster Payments

The QLD Federal government has also offered disaster relief payments for our friends who are affected of the snap three-day lockdown. This is a lump-sum payment for eligible people who lost work and income due to a Queensland COVID-19 public health order.

For Australian residents 

You can claim online through myGov linked to a Centrelink online account.

If you don’t have a myGov account, you can create one here.

For eligible work visa holders  

If you hold a visa that gives you the right to work in Australia, please call the Emergency information line (180 22 66) to claim. They can also assist you through their Multilingual Phone Service (131 202) if you want to talk to them in your language.
