You must get married within nine months of your subclass 300 visa being granted.
Once married, you will need to convert your visa from the prospective marriage visa to a partner visa.
You will be required to provide evidence of your marriage.
The permanent visa application is completed at the time the 820 application is submitted. It is considered a 'combined' application.
In most cases, it will be processed separately, two years after the 820 application was first made. You will need to show your relationship is still ongoing.
