The department’s mini COVID-19 site has confirmed today that Prospective Marriage Visa (subclass 300) holders may now be eligible for a travel exemption as long as they met the the following criteria:
✅ Subclass 300 visa application was lodged on or before August 18, 2020
✅ Subclass 300 visa application has been granted
Please ignore stories on Twitter that claim PMV holders are exempt from travel restrictions. This is not true and the above criteria needs to be followed.
