Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) has announced that they are now accepting applications from Temporary Activity Subclass 408 visa holders for its Job Ready Program (JRP).

The Subclass 408 visa is a temporary visa endorsed by the Government through the COVID-19 Pandemic event stream.

TRA has previously announced that it would not accept the applications but has recently amended its position on its JRP for the SC 408 visa holders.

However, TRA noted that completion of the JRP while holding an SC 408 visa does not guarantee a pathway to permanent residency or migration.
